The Ashley Bartlam Partnership has exercised it's influence on numerous projects throughout Moray, Grampian and the Highlands of Scotland, for over 60 years.
The Architectural Practice set up in Elgin by Bill Bartlam in 1947, covers a wide geographical area and while the majority of the firm's projects are within the Moray/Inverness area, the firm has also been involved in work further afield - Strathspey, Tayside, the West coast and North to the Orkney Isles.
The practice is much involved in commercial and industrial architectural projects with particular experience in sensitive locations and conservation projects. Over the years the firm has also dealt with many domestic projects from minor alterations to substantial new houses.
The balance of technical knowledge and sensitive design has resulted in the appointment of projects from internationally known clients such as Walkers Shortbread Ltd, Gordon & MacPhail Ltd, Diageo Plc and Marks & Spencer Plc.
Projects on behalf of these clients include Walkers' New Bakery Factory in Elgin, Gordon & MacPhail's New Warehousing at Benromach Distillery, a variety of Industrial/Commercial Distillery Projects for Diageo and the design of M&S's recent High Street Store in Elgin.
