The firm's architects on being awarded Investors in People at their office in Elgin, Moray, Scotland.The Ashley Bartlam Partnership has exercised it's influence on numerous projects throughout Moray, Grampian and the Highlands of Scotland, for over 50 years.

The Architectural Practice set up in Elgin by Bill Bartlam in 1947, covers a wide geographical area and while the majority of the firm's projects are within the Moray/Inverness area, the firm has also been involved in work further afield - Strathspey, Tayside, the West coast and North to the Orkney Isles.

The practice is much involved in commercial and industrial architectural projects with particular experience in sensitive locations and conservation projects. Over the years the firm has dealt with many domestic projects from minor alterations to substantial new houses.

The balance of technical knowledge and sensitive design has resulted in many repeat projects from internationally known clients such as Baxters of Speyside, Walkers Shortbread Ltd, and United Distillers & Vintners. Recent projects on behalf of these clients include the provision of a staff facility building at the main entrance to Baxters of Speyside premises, Fochabers; extension of Walkers Bakery facility in Elgin and development of the Drummuir Castle for J&B (Scotland) Ltd.
